This year my family and I are participating for the first time in The Pink Slipper Project. The PSP was founded by Joyce Lucas and it has been a marvelous success now for its second year. The particular project that we are participating in consists of making Christmas Stocking for those children that are living in shelters with their mothers this Holiday Season. If you don't do Christmas, remember that you can also help by making slippers ;)
So we got to work to make these special gifts...

It's very important to teach the younger ones that the Holidays is a special time of the year to share with others that are in need. Here you can see my niece Vianca cutting away the pieces of fabric so the adults can put them together.

It's never too early to learn....here's Baby Yazmin with a piece of fabric already cut by Vianca.
Five children will have a great surprise this year's Christmas morning :)

I just love the art of Sherry and Ron Byrum. Their Halloween art can be seen around the world. I have the fortune of calling them my friends.
